Heritage and Archaeology:
Fixed Price Heritage Statements (or Statements of Heritage Significance): these are required when planning to undertake any development works that may affect a heritage asset, such as a listed building.
Historic Building Recordings: these are usually requested when planned works are likely to cause some level of loss to historic fabric. There are 4 levels of recording, ranging from a basic visual record to a comprehensive analytical record.
Conservation Area Appraisals and Management Plans: we can offer local planning authorities a comprehensive review and assessment of their heritage stock using industry standard methodology and expert analysis with the view to producing a Management Plan for the long-term management of these assets.
Desk-based assessments (DBAs): these are typically undertaken early on in the planning process to help inform further investigation. They generally include a historical and archaeological background of a site and may also include mitigation strategies for potential impacts on heritage assets.
Grant Applications: we can help you write a grant application for heritage funded projects. Our Heritage and Archaeology Director has previously worked with Historic England on several grant programmes and from this experience has insider knowledge on what makes an application both compliant and impressive!
Heritage Research: all our projects are informed by thorough research which gives our clients the confidence to know the history of their buildings.
