Heritage Statements (also referred to as Statements of Heritage Significance or Heritage Impact Assessments) are a key requirement for planning and listed building consent applications where proposals affect heritage assets.

At Aurora Heritage, we prepare clear, evidence-based Heritage Statements that explain the significance of a site and assess the impact of proposed change in a proportionate and balanced way. Pricing is informed by the level of heritage significance, site complexity and scope of assessment required. Priority and bespoke services are available where timescales or site sensitivities demand it. This provides clarity from the outset and helps projects move forward with confidence.

We work collaboratively with architects, developers and planning teams, often at an early stage, to ensure heritage considerations inform design decisions rather than reacting to them later.

For projects with tight deadlines, our Priority Heritage Statement service provides a fully NPPF-compliant report within 5 working days for straightforward schemes.
